Debbie’s POV continues
I froze when I heard the gunshot in the air.
Not just me but everyone including Liam, he stopped on his track.
A girl with dark hair, sparkling lips, she’s very beautiful.
OMG! Is this Emma?
“everyone stay where you are or I’ll pull the trigger ” she yelled.
“awwwn Debbie, we finally meet” she said smiling devilishly.
“Emma ” I called.
“what did you miss me, who am I even kidding did he tell you about me” she asked sternly.
“yes he did and he asked us to find you and unite with you” I said moving closer to her.
“oh spare me that, When I was suffering in the streets, did you find me, no, it’s now that I’ve got all that I want that you want to find me” she said blinking away the tears that were threatening to fall out.
“don’t come closer” she yelled and I stopped on my track.
“get him” she gestured her hands to one of her boys to take Liam.
“Emma you don’t have to do this ” I said but she wasn’t even listening.
They were taking Liam away and Emma and her other boy was still pointing their guns at us.
I won’t let them take Liam this time.
Dylan was slowly moving to where Liam and one if Emma’s boys are.
As the boy opened the car door for LA to get in, Dylan hit him from the behind.
He held his neck tight and that cause Emma to look at that direction so I took advantage of that and held Emma’s hands.
Dylan was struggling with the two guys Emma brought and I was struggling with Emma herself.
Stacey was at a corner, she looked very scared.
The boys were already got Dylan down and he’s bleeding from where I stabbed him.
“Liam run” I yelled still struggling with Emma for the gun.
I held Emma’s hands right to the gun which made her hand to pull the trigger, the trigger flew and hit Liam at his back which made him to stop on his track.
We were all dumbfounded.
Emma let go of the gun and slowly went to where Liam laid on the floor gasping for air.
“nooooo” I yelled and pulled the trigger at Emma, it’s hit her back as well and she slowly turn her back to look at me with tears streaming down her cheeks then slowly she fell beside Liam.
I can’t afford to loose my brother again, never.
The two boys Emma brought ran way and few min later the ambulance arrived. Someone must have called them.
The police came too.
They took Emma and Liam to the hospital for treatment.
The doctor said they lost slot of blood so I donated to the both of them since I’m group O.
“I suggest you go get your brother and sister food so they can regain energy, they will be fine don’t worry” the doc said and left.
I told Stacey and Dylan to wait here and I’ll go home and get them some energy food.
I reached home, packaged the food and was going when I saw mom door opened.
I dropped the food on the couch and went into her room.
I turned on the light and sat in the bed.
I wish you were here mom.
I saw the box where dad kept the letter he wanted me to have in the bed. I left it in the bed the day I read it.
I carried the box to keep but I saw another paper at the corner, there was little pocked at the corner.
I didn’t see this the day I took it.
I brought the later out and read it.
“my dear Emma, I’m sorry for the pain I caused you and your mom. Sorry for not being there with you all through the the days I was on earth . If it’s not too late I want you to find a place in your beautiful heart to forgive me. Someday you are gonna reunite with your siblings coz I trust Debbie will find you. I love you even though I wasn’t there with you, you will ways be in my heart ” the paper read.
I was sniffing hard from crying too much.
I hope Emma accepts us after she reads this letter.
I tucked the letter in my pocket,took the food and went to the hospital
I went to give Liam his food first and I stay with him for a little while. Thank God I have my brother back. Emma is not that wicked after all, she still has some good in her, it was just revenge that wanted to take over her.
I entered her ward and she turned her face away.
I went closer to her and held her hand .
She looked at me, tears were already streaming down her cheeks and mine.
“I’m sorry Emma ” I said amidst tears.
She didn’t say anything.
“here ” I gave her the letter.
I opened it for her and she took it with her shaky hands .
She was already crying while reading the letter.
“he did loved me” she cried and I nodded.
“yes Emma so just forget about everything and move on with us” I said.
“I’m so sorry Debbie, I was filled with revenge and hatred, please forgive me” she pleaded holding my hands.
“it’s okay, and thank you for not killing Liam when you had the chamce” I said
“but I did, I pulled the trigger ” she cried more.
“yeah but not on purpose ” I said
“so what about Liam ” she asked.
“don’t worry, he’s fine I said and she smiled.
“just recover fast and we can go home and live happily together ” I said and she smiled.
I went out to meet Dylan and Stacey and two cops were talking with them.
“are you sure” the cop asked and they nodded.
“what’s going on here” I asked and the cops turned to face me.
“now you tell us the side of your story” one of the cops said and I looked at Dylan and Stacey and they winked at me.
“uhm they’ve already told you what it is to know officer” I said.
“so you mean to say the criminals escaped” he asked and I nodded.
They shook their head and left.
Thank God there were no witnesses that could testify against Emma and we can’t do that too.
I turned to look at Dylan and that was when I started feeling the pain when I stabbed him.
I hugged him tight but carefully.
“I’m sorry Dylan I’m sorry ” I cried on his chest.
“it’s okay, it wasn’t your fault so stop sulking Debbie Downer ” he teased and I hit him slightly.
We disengaged from the hug and looked at Stacey.
“it’s okay, I’ll find my Prince Charming someday ” she said smiling and I pulled her in for a warm hug.
“thanks and I’m sorry ” I whispered to her.
Some days later Liam and Emma were discharged from the hospital and we went home
Dylan and I already started dating and we already decorated the house to welcome Emma.
“wow ” Emma said when she stepped her feet in the house.
Stacey traveled out the following day and Emma’s foster parents cane to see her when they heard what happened.
They were kind and they even accepted Liam and I.
We were the one ruling over the Gilbert’s money coz they put their property in our name since they are childless.
Liam continued his school and Dylan put me as the manager of his dads company.
He proposed to me one night and I accepted with all my heart.
I told him to wait until Liam graduate then we can get married but I gave it to him after the engagement.
You know what I mean, my virginity coz he deserves it.
“And that’s what happened in my life dear diary ” I said and closed my diary.

A piece of advice: no matter how heart breaking a story might be in the beginning, or in the middle, it doesn’t give you the right to paint that story bad coz you don’t know what the writer has in store for it.
